Great Quotes

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. ~Samuel Adams

RINO Hunting: First Blood

(Is it just me or is there a striking resemblance between these two?)

One down, several more to go. It's a great day, people! Arlen Spector was so frightened of the pitchfork-carrying masses planning on forking his carcass off the ballot this election season, that he turned tail and ran like a little girl right into the arms of his fellow liberals where he belongs; on the Jackass side of the aisle. A few people are upset about this development. I am not. What is the difference between a Republican who votes with Democrats and a Democrat who votes with Democrats? Anyone? Answer: NOTHING.

Arlen Spector is a fraud. He's been a fraud for the last 29 years. Consider this statement,

"I am not prepared to have my 29-year record in the United States Senate decided by the Pennsylvania Republican primary electorate."

When he says, "primary electorate", he is referring to the PEOPLE OF PENNSYLVANIA!!! Let's read that sentence again with what would have been the proper word choice.

I am not prepared to have my 29-year record in the United States Senate decided by the Pennsylvanian PEOPLE.

WOW. I mean, we always knew Spector didn't care a fig about what the people thought about his voting record. No matter how many phone calls he got, he still voted with Democrats on key issues against the will of his voters...the PEOPLE who put him in his office. So to circumvent the will of the people (who were about to fire him), he has switched political parties. It is politicians like Spector who make the very word "politician" a profanity. We have a serious problem in this country when we elect people. They suddenly get the idea that they can do no wrong and they know better than you or me. So after soliciting our support for months on end and slobbering all over us for election purposes and making us watch the worst commercials ever made, they drop us like a one night stand, and move on to the big power grab. The minute elections are over, most of the elected just do whatever the hell they want. Spector is a classic example of this type of immorality in politics.

The Democrats will take anyone these days. Have they no standards? I'm actually glad for that. We certainly didn't want him anymore. The most obnoxious part about this, however, is not that he is finally out of the closet about his political persuasion (who didn't know he was a Dem?) but that it is allowable to switch parties without an election! If you were elected as a Democrat, you should have to stay one until the next election when you can switch parties, if you so desire. The same should go for Republicans. Otherwise, there are a bunch of instantly disenfranchised voters who put you there under false premises! Where's Jesse Jackson when we have ACTUAL evidence of voter disenfranchisement?? The people of Pennsylvania just got screwed! They thought they elected a Republican!

The good news in all of this for the Republicans is that we are clearly getting to the "moderate" RINOs. They are on the run. We have finally identified the vast left-wing conspiracy and it was in our own party the whole time! Democrats dressed in "moderate" clothing destroying us from the inside. NO MORE. The jig is up libs. We're on to you and however you leave the Republican party is fine with us. Just GO.

Be on the lookout the next few months for Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe to jump ship. Keeping their cushy seats in the Senate is the only thing they care about, just like Spector. They don't care about your job or your taxes or your kids...just their jobs. And they're going to fight for them.

Random Thoughts on a Rainy Saturday

Global Warming Scam
So Al Gore is begging for serious energy taxes again claiming it's the end of the world as we know it and it simply will not be stopped until we pay the government more money for the use of our energy (which will somehow slow down the earth's spinning out of control and keep it from the abyss that is coming). Read the following from the AP:

But former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., argued that the Democratic proposal to reduce greenhouse gases would "punish the American people" by imposing higher energy costs and threatening jobs.

"This bill is an energy tax," Gingrich said. "An energy tax punishes senior citizens, it punishes rural Americans, if you use electricity it punishes you. This bill will increase your cost of living and may kill your job."

Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee that is writing the bill, shot back that Gingrich was resorting to "the old scare tactics" designed to undermine any congressional effort to address the problem.

"When American people hear the statements you have made today, they get scared, which I think is exactly what is intended," a visibly angry Waxman told Gingrich, a potential presidential contender in 2012 and a leading voice of the GOP.

Here's what I don't get. If Global Warming, or Climate Change, or whatever it is we're calling it these days is such a gigantic threat, does anyone really think that the Republicans want us to burn alive...or freeze to death or whatever catastrophic event is supposed to take place? The idea that those against excessive taxes on things that have no hope of affecting the weather are somehow mad as hatters and don't care about the planet is absurd. We live on this rock too. And Henry Waxman has the nerve to say the Republicans are using scare tactics?!? Who are the people who are telling us every day that NYC is going to be covered by a tidal wave? What would you call that? The politics of hope? There was a study done the other day that said one in 3 children (or something like that) fear the world is going to end in their lifetime due to the actual scare-tactics of liberal teachers.

We must ask ourselves, who stands to benefit from all the Climate Change policy? Who are the people asking for cap and trade policy? Carbon offset credits? Energy taxes...where is the money going? The government...run by Democrats. So what do the Republicans have to gain by resisting the excessive taxes on the people? Nothing but gratitude of the people. But on the flipside, if the Democrats win this one, there will be billions of dollars flowing into the coffers again from the overtaxed and underpaid tax-slave.

Members of the scientific community who have conflicting views with Al Gore on what causes Climate Change are growing every day. 600 of them signed a letter decrying the whole theory as bunk. And yet, our lovely Democratic and open-minded congress wouldn't allow one skeptic to speak alongside Al Gore.

Could it be that they are worried their get-rich-quick-on the American taxpayer-scheme would be found out? Seriously folks, be honest. Who's going to gain by you swallowing this global catastrophe stuff?

SWINE FLU
More great stuff being exported from Mexico. People are dropping like flies. It is said that even Obama was exposed. If Obama does come down with the terrible swine infliction, the only good result would be that maybe the Democrats could start to understand why we need to CLOSE OUR BORDERS. The resurgence of TB wasn't enough. The gang members and illegal dope dealers weren't enough...maybe losing one of their own to a third-world plague will do it.

BYE BYE PONTIAC
My husband is going to shed a few tears over this one. Sorry, honey. You're going to have to settle for a classic Firebird now.

THE SAD TALE OF HENRIETTA HUGHES
It should come as no surprise to anyone that the lady who cried about being homeless to Obama and received a house to live in for FREE is still unable to pay her bills and will be homeless again soon. There's a great sob story about her plight here. I don't believe for one minute that with her instant fame in this Youtube world, someone hasn't wanted to hire her to do something. It just goes to show that if you give a woman a fish she'll eat for a day and then go hungry again.

JANET NAPALITANO'S HAIR
I realize that there are other things to worry about with this woman (?) but has anyone ever seen a less flattering haircut? I had gym teachers with better haircuts...and they were men. Maybe it's the haircut that is causing her to be unable to concentrate on things like facts, which is why she keeps flubbing them. She thinks the 9/11 terrorists came from Canada and that U.S. Veterans are a threat to national security! Maybe she's just crazy. Sure looks like it with that 'do. My favorite part about the above article is when she apologized for the right-wing extremist document...getting out to the public. She didn't apologize for what was in it, that anyone with a "choose life" bumper sticker is now being watched by black helicopters, but that the public got wind of it. Napalitano is a badly-coiffed nightmare in the making. Watch out for this one. I have visions of Ruby Ridge part deux.

ANN COULTER
My sympathy goes out to Ann whose mother died recently. She's written a really good eulogy here. I also have always described my mother as my biggest fan, and she is. Sometimes I wonder if I do the things I do just to impress her. What will I do when she's gone? I love you mom. You're an inspiration to all your girls.

Intolerant Fox on The CLASH!

Doug Giles and Megan chat about open season on RINOS

UPDATE: Mark Kirk RINO Report

Thanks to a reader for this link to Mark Kirk's support of unconstitutional "hate-crime" legislation that is going to end up putting preachers who preach against homosexuality in jail. Nice, Kirk. Again, Lake County, I ask you....is this the best you can do? If so, your best SUCKS.

Mark Kirk, IL RINO... Exposed

"I support the decision of President Obama to back stem cell research. His decision will be broadly backed by a strong bipartisan coalition on Capitol Hill" Congressman Mark Kirk

I've been challenged by one of my fellow Republican readers that Mark Kirk is not such a bad guy. I am supposed to believe, according to this reader, that Mark Kirk is the best we can do in the 10th district of IL. That he is as conservative as it gets for that part of our state. Well, that argument was like waving a red cape in front of a bull. Are you ready for your close up Mr. Kirk? Just a minute while I snap on my rubber gloves and prepare to dive into your dirty voting record. Votes are forever, Mr. Kirk.

ABORTION

Voted NO to S-403 Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act-Vote to pass a bill that criminalizes the transportation of pregnant minors across state lines with the intention of the minor obtaining an abortion, with certain exceptions. (What's the deal, Kirk? Want to protect your right to take your 13-year-old girlfriend over the border for an abortion without her parent's consent? I think you have children and I wouldn't imagine you would want some scumbag taking one of yours over state lines to have a major operation that could sterilize her for life without your knowledge...)

Did not vote in the Partial Birth Abortion Bill in 2003-(nothing like not standing up and not being counted when it matters. But then again in the same year, he did stand up to those dastardly babies and say YES to the dismemberment of live, unwanted babies outside the womb in HR760

Voted YES to HR815-Overseas Military Facilities Abortion Amendment- Vote to adopt an amendment that lifts the ban on privately funded abortions at U.S. military facilities overseas. (Nothing like spreading abortions and moral decay in our military community)

NUTTY LIBERAL CAUSES
Voted YES HR536-distributed large sums of money to kook groups including

-$2.23 billion for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (what the heck do they do?)

- $1.79 billion for the Bureau of Land Management

- $1.2 billion for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (UPDATE: My husband assures me that the Fish and Wildlife Service is worth every penny because of their service to the hunting community and that I am thinking of the Army Corps of Engineers-which spends its time bankrupting builders and homeowners who happen to have beavers living in their backyards)

- $986.45 million for the United States Geological Survey

- $624.09 million for the Smithsonian Institute

- $157.5 million for the Minerals Management Service

- $145.96 million for the National Endowment for the Humanities

- $129.41 million for the National Endowment of the Arts (Most famous for supporting "art" including a performance artist who cuts a man on stage, soaks napkins in his possibly infectious blood and then hangs them over his audience, the ever-so-popular portrait of the Virgin Mary covered in elephant dung, and the unforgettable "Piss Christ".)

BUDGET

Voted YES on HR146-Among other things it authorizes $1 million to provide grants to states and Indian tribes to compensate ranchers for livestock killed by wolves and to assist with non-lethal methods to reduce wolf attacks (Title VI, Subtitle C). (Seems to me it would be more cost-effective for everybody to just let the ranchers SHOOT THE WOLVES. Why are we paying to replace the livestock killed by wolves when the ranchers could just put a bullet in them? People, this country has gone INSANE.)

Voted NO to HJ Res. 3-Releasing Funds for Economic Stabilization Act-This act was sponsored by Republicans after the first 300 billion dollars went unaccounted for to block the remaining funds from being released without oversight. (Nothing like not caring where the money goes)
EXPANDING WELFARE AND TAXES
Voted YES HR2-The CHIP Program-basically an expansion of welfare (that includes $1 tax on CIGARETTES to "fund" the program! How they sneak that stuff in, huh??? Brilliant, evil geniuses.)

Voted YES-HR 3997-First Economic Package (this is the one that failed the first time through)and Voted YES HR-1424:Second Economic Package (This one was bigger than the first!)

Have you heard enough yet? I have. Mark Kirk has the wrong voting record on the protection of the unborn. He is no friend to babies. He has the wrong record on spending...clearly he likes to spend your money and LOTS of it. He has the wrong record on supporting kooky bureaus we don't need. He has the wrong record on the expansion of the welfare state. What more do you people in the 10th district need to know? Electing a Democrat to vote the same way as Kirk has would at least be honest. But allowing a guy to put an "R" behind his name and yet vote with the Democrats on darn near every issue is just plain STUPID.

That's right, I called you stupid. Get your cojones out of your purse and KICK KIRK TO THE KURB. (That would make a catchy sign). He's no conservative, he's a big-spending liberal like the rest of them and he's out to get your money and RAISE YOUR TAXES. Yes it would be better to have a Democrat in his seat because when the fit hits the shan...and it will, we want the Democrats to take all the blame they deserve so we can run over them for the next 30 years. I have a message for you IL Republicans. You SUCK. You're in the most corrupt Democratic state in the union and you still can't win elections. The IL Republicans shouldn't be allowed to continue running. We need new Republicans...ones who will stand up to the machine and tell the people what the deal is. You guys have been railroaded and shoved into the congressional lockers for far too long. Do any of you have a backbone? You're weak and you don't deserve our support. All you do is whine. Well I'm tired of it. It's time to give somebody else a try.

Anybody want to defend Mark Kirk now?

Here's a link to tell him how you feel about his voting record and his phone number if you'd like to leave him a message 202-225-4835

And by all means, my little Lake County IL Repub spies...please send him my regards.

RINO Hit List

Lock and load, people. This is it. Come 2010 (which is right around the corner) we are going to pull the trigger on the careers of the following so-called "representatives" and send them packing to the private sector to earn an honest living for the rest of their miserable lives. This list of Senators comes from Human Events who keeps a pretty good list of the most liberal reps in the senate. This is by no means a complete list, but it's a good start. It's up to you people out there to know your representatives and if I miss anybody who needs a new job description, let me know and I'll add them! My idea for the July 4th protests coming up is to picket the offices of these people in their states with big huge signs that say, "Consider this your GOING AWAY PARTY!"

Olympia Snowe, ME
Susan Collins, ME (see a pattern here? Hey Maine, what's your problem? Try electing a CONSERVATIVE next time okay?)
Arlen Spector, PA
George Voinovich, OH
Lisa Murkowski, AL
Mel Martinez, FL
John McCain, AZ
Richard Lugar, IN
Robert Bennett, UT
Thad Cochran, MS

Now, from my own research;

Mike Enzi WY- This guy is trying to impose an internet tax requiring all purchases to pay the state tax from where the order originates. AS IF WE DON'T PAY ENOUGH TAXES ALREADY! (202) 224-3424...call now to voice your outrage. He did vote no on the bailouts, so that's something. But he needs pressure over this internet tax thing.

Pete Domenici, NM-voted for the UAW bailout
Mark Warner, VA-voted for the UAW bailout
Sam Brownback, KS-voted for the UAW bailout and has the nerve to post a running ticker of our national debt on his website. Thanks for contributing to it Sam! He does get credit for voting no on the TARP but why the shift with the UAW?

Back to Human Events we go to look at the Top Ten Liberal Republicans in the House:

Michael Castle, DE
Chris Smith, NJ
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, FL
John McHugh, NY
Fred Upton, MI
Shelly Moore Capito, WV
Jim Gerlach, PA
Mark Kirk, IL
Patrick Murphy, PA
Mike Rodgers, AL

It is abundantly clear that PA has a lot of clean up to do. You PA Tea Partiers have some work to do out there and we're counting on you to get it done.

Taken from one of my previous articles right after the Bush Bailouts passed, here is a list of all Republicans who voted for it. There may be some repeats in here. Those of you in these states need to make the decisions for yourselves if these people are making the right decisions for you. You would know better than I would. But I would appreciate any info on the worst offenders.

Spencer Bachus (AL) Roy Blunt (MO) John Boehner (OH) Jo Bonner (AL) Mary Bono Mack (CA) John Boozman (AR) Kevin Brady (TX) Henry Brown (SC) Ken Calvert (CA) Dave Camp (MI) John Campbell (CA) Chris Cannon (UT) Eric Cantor (VA) Mike Castle (DE) Tom Cole (OK) Ander Crenshaw (FL) Barbara Cubin (WY) Tom Davis (VA)Vernon Ehlers (MI) Terry Everett (AL) Michael Ferguson (NJ) Vito Fossella (NY) Wayne Gilchrest (MD) Kay Granger (TX) Ralph Hall (TX) Wally Herger (CA) David Hobson (OH) Bob Inglis (SC) Pete King (NY) Mark Kirk (IL) John Kline (MN) Ray LaHood (IL) Jerry Lewis (CA) Ron Lewis (KY) Dan Lundgren (CA) Jim McCrery (LA) John McHugh (NY) Howard "Buck" McKeon (CA) Gary Miller (CA) Tim Murphy (PA) John Peterson (PA) Chip Pickering (MS) Jon Porter (NV) Deborah Pryce (OH) Adam Putnam (FL) George Radanovich (CA) Tom Reynolds (NY) Mike Rodgers (MI) Harold Rodgers (KY) Paul Ryan (WI) Jim Saxton (NJ) Jeff Sessions (TX) Christopher Shays (CT) Mike Simpson (ID) Chris Smith (NJ) Mark Souder (IN) Tom Tancredo (CO) Fred Upton (MI) Greg Walden (OR) Jim Walsh (NY) Dave Weldon (FL) Joe Wilson (SC) Heather Wilson (NM) Frank Wolf (SC)

From Michelle Malkin, here's a list of Republicans who voted for a 90% unconstitutional tax on AIG bonuses.

Here are the 10 House Republicans who think it is government’s job to determine what “excessive” pay is in every workplace except their own (full roll call vote here):

Bilirakis
Brown-Waite, Ginny
Cao
Diaz-Balart, L.
Diaz-Balart, M.
Duncan
Jones
McHugh
Rohrabacher
Ros-Lehtinen

At least this bonus-taxing bunch of appalling GOP turncoats is consistent in supporting radical government meddling.

Oh, and look who voted “present:”

Cantor

Once we get these liberal Republicans out of congress and replaced with actual conservatives, we need to go after TERM LIMITS, PAY CUTS AND RETIREMENT PACKAGES. If we can't take the anger and motivation behind the protests and turn it into CONSEQUENCES at the polls then it was all worthless and for nothing. Let's show them the kind of power the people actually have! NOW GET TO WORK!!!

*The image above comes from a great site that is organizing days to send "pink slips" to reps who need to go on the same days. Go HERE and print yourself some to send!!! They're great!

It's about CONGRESS Stupid! UPDATE!!

UPDATE: The following video has been yanked from YouTube by the free-speech hating corp. execs at CNN. The poster is fighting for their right to use the video. I have no idea how anyone can do this legally. That was private video filmed in PUBLIC and CNN has no claim on it. That's absurd. We in the blogosphere are going to keep posting it again and again regardless of CNN's bogus claims to it. It is truly great. Basically, another protester takes Susan to task over her idiocy and stupid questioning of that man with the baby. Then she asks her why she isn't showing the signs or talking to the people whose signs are CLEARLY anti-Republican. These protests aren't partisan! We've had it with everybody who is spending our money unwisely! That's the point CNN! All of Congress is spending our money at their peril.

Here's some great behind the scenes footage from the CNN vs. Chicago taxpayers slugfest. Pay attention to what the woman says to the idiot reporter. This is GREAT.

Tea Parties Need New Identity

Okay. I've had it. I can't listen to or read one more mischaracterization of the so-called "Tea Parties" for one second longer. We need a new name. Those of us with any intelligence at all know that the name "Tea Party" is simply symbolic of the revolutionary spirit our Forefathers had and used to form this great nation. Our enemies though, have taken our wit and turned it into idiocy. Naming our protests after the Boston Tea Party has allowed the media to categorize what we are doing as simply an "anti-tax protest". No, we don't like high taxes...but taxes are not what the protests are solely about! Let me articulate for you amoebas out there what people are so angry about.

1. That our government has grown so large and so overreaching that it can pass trillion dollar legislation without our consent, our support or even a debate.

2. That the government can put your name on a watch list for having a bumper sticker that espouses a conservative viewpoint.

3. While the market crashes, the current administration and the one before it is abandoning the free market principles that made this nation great for socialist market principles that will surely bring us to our knees in a matter of a few short years.

4. The current congress and administration is doing everything they can to create class envy between rich and poor while growing FAT on tax dollars, flying in private jets payed for by taxpayers, retiring on the taxpayers, getting free health care paid for by the taxpayers, while screwing the same taxpayers who make their lifestyles possible. When is this nation going to wake up and realize who the really "evil rich" are? CONGRESS!!

5. Creating more dependence on the working, taxpaying population is only going to decrease the taxpaying population leading to more dependence on the unfortunate few who are going to be left to carry the water for all the deadbeats. Eventually, all the producers are going to quit. Then where will all you leeches get your blood?

This movement has FAR LESS to do with taxes than it has to do with the REJECTION OF TYRANNY. We need to take our individualism and control back from the usurpers in the government. And that goes for ALL OF THEM. Democrats AND Republicans should be running for cover by the time we're through with them. We need to fundamentally change the way Congress operates. We need to slash their salaries in half and take away their ability to vote themselves pay increases, slash their staffs in half, take away all perks like jets and first class rides, cars, retirement packages, free health-care and IMPOSE TERM LIMITS. We need to make being a Congressperson about SERVING THE PEOPLE AND NOT THEMSELVES. We need to make that job a job of SACRIFICE to keep the creeps out. We need to stop the insanity of campaigns! NO MORE MONEY FOR CAMPAIGNS. Let NPR and PBS be non-stop election outlets during campaign season and give away their time to every candidate for free. There has to be a better way, people! We have got to overhaul Congress. The way it currently operates is unacceptable.

And another thing. I'm not happy with the Ron Paul movement trying to take over these protests. We conservatives need to come to an agreement that we are TAKING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BACK. We are not going to give our support to 3rd parties who CAN'T WIN. And let's be honest. Ron Paul's stance on war is naive and infantile. America will not be safe if our policy is to never enter into war. That is a childish, liberal fantasy that will never work in the real world. Ron Paul is not the answer. The answer is to KICK OUT the RINOS in the party. McCain, Steele, Snowe, Collins, Spector, Graham, Gingrich (sorry Newt...but your views on Global Warming have signed your death warrant for a leadership position) and anybody else in the party that will not tow the CONSERVATIVE line. There is NO ROOM in our party for people in leadership who call themselves "moderates" but are just closet liberals. If you want to vote for the Republicans as a "moderate", you are welcome. But don't run for office, we won't elect you. THAT'S where our focus should be.

I hereby submit to you the following new names for our ongoing protests:

The Capitalist Revolution
The Fiscal Responsibility Tour
The Tar and Feathers Brigade
Throw the Bums Out Protest
Anti-Congress Movement
Revolution 2010

It's time to more clearly define what it is we want to happen through this process. It's not about taxes. It's about the tax MAN.

Tea Party Interviews

Here's a couple of interviews I got in the Federal Plaza yesterday. Wish I had more but everyone was pretty paranoid and suspicious of undercover ACORNs.

video

video

Just for laughs...here's a hilarious video from CNN of a "reporter" harassing a protester with a baby and she acts like she's the one being attacked. I personally love her editorializing instead of listening to what the man has to say. Watch for the "Don't you know you qualify for a $400 tax credit?" LOL...why would we be protesting when the government is going to give us a whopping $400!!!

Is the irony being lost on everyone but me that CNN is declaring itself concerned about what is appropriate for "family viewing" while Anderson Cooper and other CNN hosts have been cracking jokes about "teabagging" during prime-time? (For those of you who are not familiar with obscure and disgusting homosexual practices....let's just say "teabagging" is something Anderson Cooper is very familiar with.)

News Coverage Update!!!

Just watched Fox interview IL Rep. Jan Schakowsy (D) about the Tea Party. First she claimed, "there weren't that many people" and Fox promptly showed footage from an hour before the party started when there were only 100 people in the plaza vs. 2000 chanting voters at 1pm. Then she called us disingenuous, said the party was "hijacked" by right-wing groups, called us more like "astroturf" than "grass-roots" and called our efforts, "despicable".

You can contact Ms. Schakowsky here (773) 506-7100 here (847) 328-3409 or here (202) 225-2111 to let her know it's the voters who are coming out to the parties and we're going to demonstrate that beyond a shadow of a doubt in 2010.

Don't Tax Me Bro!

The left-wingers want to know why we call what we are doing a Tea Party and they love to try and say that we're historically incorrect. If they could get past their giant, pointy heads, they might try to see the big picture. We are not trying to replicate the original Boston Tea Party in 1773. What we are doing is embracing the revolutionary spirit with which this country was put into motion. This country rejected royalty in 1776 with a letter to King George that started the Revolutionary War. We rejected the idea of slavery to a king then as we reject it today. Today, instead of a king, we have a house of kings posing as Congressmen. They fly on taxpayer-funded private jets, retire with obscene retirement packages and pay next to nothing for the best health care in the nation. Then, instead of working for the people, they spend all their time raising more money to stay in their cushy congressional seats.

This problem transcends party lines. Each representative is worse than the next. John Edwards was right. There are two Americas; the bloated pigs in D.C. and the rest of us working our fingers to the bone to pay for their pork. Those of us regular people out here are sacrificing every day to survive. We don't go on vacations, we eat at home, we save and scrape to get by and it's time that Congress did the same. Shut down the congressional cafeteria. Let them brown-bag it like the rest of us. Take away the private planes and let them fly coach, I refuse to pay for it a minute longer. Who do they think they are? Elvis? They have a lot of nerve getting angry at CEOs of companies who earned the money to pay for their jets while they fly around on BORROWED MONEY!!! Take away the retirement packages...why should any congressman be in that job so long they retire in it? And if Social Security is good enough for us, it's good enough for them. We need TERM LIMITS. Throw the bums out! Don't tax the rich...TAX CONGRESS!!! Let's impose a 90% salary tax on them! Let's make them cut their staffs in HALF! The rich at least provide us with jobs. When was the last time you got hired by Congress? And that's really what this day is about. It's about taking back control over our country and our individual freedoms. Those idiots on Capitol Hill work for YOU. Not the other way around. Let's send them packing in 2010! All of them! I want a DO OVER.

I knew this protest was going to be much bigger and much better than the last one that was thrown together in only 3 days. Not only did we have a working microphone this time, but actual speakers like Mancow, Jonathan Honig The Capitalist Pig and more! It was a great day with no violence (unlike our leftist friends at UNC who had to be pepper-sprayed to keep them from rioting), and yet the Dept. of Homeland Security is still defending their asinine screed calling us "right-wing extremists". Okay, Janet. Seems to me you might want to more closely monitor the people who keep starting fights at protests, not those of us who actually assemble peacefully.

The crowd was huge. I'd say over 2,000 but it was hard to tell. I'm waiting for the actual estimates. All I know is by 1pm, it was shoulder to shoulder with no room to move. (And I had a stroller in that crowd!) I tried to do some street interviews but a lot of people had been scared by the Daily Kos and ACORN infiltrators who were said to be roaming around trying to make our side look like dumb racists by asking loaded questions. I was turned down by many folks who were scared I might betray them. It was unfortunate because I would have liked to have recorded the views the mainstream media won't. We need a secret password or something so that we know who's who. Well, maybe next time. Enjoy the photos and the few interviews I managed to get. (Will be posting those momentarily)

My sign says 90% Tax on Congressional Salaries!!!

Party like it's 1773!!

Is everybody getting ready to party tomorrow? Join me at the Chicago Tea Party at 12N in the Federal Plaza. There will be speakers from 12 to 2 including Mancow and others. I will be down there citizen reporting for this site and Pajamas Media. The child and I are working on our signs right now! Hope to see some of you there! And if you're not in Chicago, find your local tea party and go tell the feds how you feel! WE'RE MAD AS HELL AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Pirate Update

The Washington AP is reporting that the captain held hostage by the islamo-pirates tried to escape around midnight by jumping overboard and swimming. And still not one shot fired. They guy risks his life to escape and give the military a free shot at the floating terror group and the Navy allowed him to be recaptured by the pirates. Why weren't the SEALS in the water already? What is going on here? This delay in action has allowed for more pirate ships to come to the rescue hauling over 50 hostages from many different countries with them. Now it's an international incident. If we make a move now, and hostages die, it's our fault. This should never have been allowed to happen. The president still hasn't said anything on the situation. All we are getting from the White House is that he's "getting updates." Yeah? Well so are the rest of us! Maybe we should be the president if that's all we have to do is get "updated". Dude, I read Drudge....I guess I'm qualified to be the president! Hey Freshman!!! We have a crisis here....you need to DO SOMETHING.

This is a perfect example of how liberals, when faced with real danger, freeze and become useless. They can't stop thinking and analyzing how it's going to play in the press or affect their legacy long enough to stop an escalating danger. These are the people you put in charge. Thanks again to all of you hopey-changey dreamers who thought this was a good way to go. Let's dismantle our military, cut all their funding, scrap their defenses, allow North Korea and Iran to go nuclear while we lay down our arms and party with the Butcher of Cuba....that sounds like a good idea. We're so paralyzed that a rowboat full of malnourished, dentally-impaired followers of Mohammed (a plague of herpes be upon him) has brought our entire armed forces to a halt.

If you live near DC, Chicago, NY or LA, I would advise you to consider moving out now. Al Qaeda is watching and laughing their turbans off at our weak nation. Now is the time to hit the paralyzed infidel and cause infinitely more chaos than a couple of smarmy pirates in a rowboat can do. How's a dirty bomb strike you?

Intolerant Fox idea number 2-lob bacon into the boat with one of those potato shooters covering every man in the boat. Then inform them that if they don't release the captain we will open fire and send them all into eternity contaminated with pork fat.

Pirate Mania...Aaarrrgggh!

What are we doing? What the @!#? are we doing? There's a little rowboat full of islamo-pirates out of gas, surrounded by our Navy and they're holding the skipper hostage and we're negotiating? Do we have no snipers? On 5 guys. 1-2-3-4-5....KABLAM....all pirates dead, skipper safe, post vid on youtube and call it a day. Why are we screwing around negotiating with 2-bit pirates? Oh wait. I forgot. We are being led by people who like to "talk"and "negotiate" large sums of money to terrorists in exchange for "peace". God save us from the talkers. This could take all month to resolve and by the end of it, the pirates will have one of our Navy ships and the skipper will have his throat cut. There is a time for everything under the sun, including "diplomacy" but even a 3rd grader could see that now is not one of those times. The world (and the pirates) are watching. It's time for action. Are we seriously going to let the United States Navy sit impotent in the water against a ROWBOAT OF TERRORISTS?

Note to anyone listening. If I am ever captured by pirates, I forgo my rights for negotiating a safe release....BLOW THE HELL OUT OF EM! (Me included, okay?) What is this that we are doing and saying to the world? Terrorize us. We'll just sit there. Seems to me that the crew was doing just fine on their own before the government got involved. I heard there were pirates "in the water"...hopefully floating face down. And can I just ask, why WHY aren't all crews of all ships travelling in pirate-infested waters ARMED??? How is it that a rowboat full of unwashed illiterates can even get close enough to a ship to overtake it in the first place?

This situation calls for old-world solutions. All pirates will be hanged on site from the topmost sail of any vessel that captured them. Thomas Jefferson once had this problem with the Barbary pirates (basically the forefathers of the idiots who are floating in the rowboat as I type). Jefferson didn't negotiate. He sent in the Marines to clean out the shores of Tripoli. They wore leather on their necks to protect them from the sabers and the beheadings. (Sound familiar?) This earned the Marines the nickname, "leathernecks" and lent to the famous song...From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli....makes sense now doesn't it?

When you need something destroyed, absolutely, positively, overnight....call the Marines.
