Peace by exterminating all opposing voices . . . ? Sounds like it would work to me. I think Obama is on a similar quest.
let me reiterate for those of you who don't seem to get the message. comments that are abusive or simply offensive to me will be removed. I don't want to put the moderation setting on but if it continues I will. And to whoever the "brave" person was who posted that last one...have some balls to identify yourself when you're making obnoxious comments about my family.
Now that I have a moment to respond to the actual criticism in the removed post that wasn't of a personal attack nature, here goes. The removed poster (hereafter referred to as "The Jerk")suggested that these Muslims are as representative of the whole of Islam as the whackos who protest soldiers' funerals are to all of Christianity. Here is why this is not a good comparison.
1. The "God Hates Fags" people who go to the funerals number in the 10s. I would be surprised if that idiot has more than 50 followers. The photos above were taken in London and there were THOUSANDS. Not to mention that this is not the first protest of this kind and not the first time I've seen these signs all over Europe. It's so bad in France that Jews have started fleeing the country for fear of their lives and the police can't even control the violent Islamic rioters. (Mainly because they aren't willing to open fire like I would suggest)
2. I agree that not all Muslims want to cut off your head. However, there are enough of them who do and who will if given the chance that should raise some red flags! We've seen this beheading live and on YouTube! It's not a fluke! It's not some kind of veiled threat...they actually do this. AND find ways to justify it using their religion. Not only do they want to behead people who insult Islam and who will not submit to it, they are also engaged in large scale destruction of innocent people all over the globe. There are so many of them doing this, in fact, that the world has waged war on terror for many years now. I don't think any of the funeral goers have made it to the FBIs most wanted list yet. As whacked and despicable as they are, they have yet to cut off one single gay head. They haven't even engaged in any violence against gays. They simply don't like them and hold signs that say this. I think they're morons...but they don't seem to be dangerous morons. In their view, God hates gays and so they think God will take care of it. At least they aren't advocating a gay Holocaust.
In my opinion, it is clear that the people we need to be on the lookout for are the ones who actually carry out their threats of violence and mayhem.
As to the other stuff, the personal attack, which was probably one of the meanest things anyone has ever said to me, if I do know you, I don't wish to know you anymore. What you said was a complete lie, an extremely damaging lie, especially when other people may think there is any truth in it, and you know you wrote that completely out of context for the purpose of causing the most damage. I have a lot of liberal friends and I can't think of any of them who would be so hateful to my family. There is a line you don't cross in civilized conversation and debate and you crossed it. In the words of the late, and extremely weird, Michael Jackson, just beat it.
