Lock and load, people. This is it. Come 2010 (which is right around the corner) we are going to pull the trigger on the careers of the following so-called "representatives" and send them packing to the private sector to earn an honest living for the rest of their miserable lives. This list of Senators comes from Human Events who keeps a pretty good list of the most liberal reps in the senate. This is by no means a complete list, but it's a good start. It's up to you people out there to know your representatives and if I miss anybody who needs a new job description, let me know and I'll add them! My idea for the July 4th protests coming up is to picket the offices of these people in their states with big huge signs that say, "Consider this your GOING AWAY PARTY!"
Olympia Snowe, ME
Susan Collins, ME (see a pattern here? Hey Maine, what's your problem? Try electing a CONSERVATIVE next time okay?)
Arlen Spector, PA
George Voinovich, OH
Lisa Murkowski, AL
Mel Martinez, FL
John McCain, AZ
Richard Lugar, IN
Robert Bennett, UT
Thad Cochran, MS
Now, from my own research;
Mike Enzi WY- This guy is trying to impose an internet tax requiring all purchases to pay the state tax from where the order originates. AS IF WE DON'T PAY ENOUGH TAXES ALREADY! (202) 224-3424...call now to voice your outrage. He did vote no on the bailouts, so that's something. But he needs pressure over this internet tax thing.
Pete Domenici, NM-voted for the UAW bailout
Mark Warner, VA-voted for the UAW bailout
Sam Brownback, KS-voted for the UAW bailout and has the nerve to post a running ticker of our national debt on his website. Thanks for contributing to it Sam! He does get credit for voting no on the TARP but why the shift with the UAW?
Back to Human Events we go to look at the Top Ten Liberal Republicans in the House:
Michael Castle, DE
Chris Smith, NJ
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, FL
John McHugh, NY
Fred Upton, MI
Shelly Moore Capito, WV
Jim Gerlach, PA
Mark Kirk, IL
Patrick Murphy, PA
Mike Rodgers, AL
It is abundantly clear that PA has a lot of clean up to do. You PA Tea Partiers have some work to do out there and we're counting on you to get it done.
Taken from one of my previous articles right after the Bush Bailouts passed, here is a list of all Republicans who voted for it. There may be some repeats in here. Those of you in these states need to make the decisions for yourselves if these people are making the right decisions for you. You would know better than I would. But I would appreciate any info on the worst offenders.
Spencer Bachus (AL) Roy Blunt (MO) John Boehner (OH) Jo Bonner (AL) Mary Bono Mack (CA) John Boozman (AR) Kevin Brady (TX) Henry Brown (SC) Ken Calvert (CA) Dave Camp (MI) John Campbell (CA) Chris Cannon (UT) Eric Cantor (VA) Mike Castle (DE) Tom Cole (OK) Ander Crenshaw (FL) Barbara Cubin (WY) Tom Davis (VA)Vernon Ehlers (MI) Terry Everett (AL) Michael Ferguson (NJ) Vito Fossella (NY) Wayne Gilchrest (MD) Kay Granger (TX) Ralph Hall (TX) Wally Herger (CA) David Hobson (OH) Bob Inglis (SC) Pete King (NY) Mark Kirk (IL) John Kline (MN) Ray LaHood (IL) Jerry Lewis (CA) Ron Lewis (KY) Dan Lundgren (CA) Jim McCrery (LA) John McHugh (NY) Howard "Buck" McKeon (CA) Gary Miller (CA) Tim Murphy (PA) John Peterson (PA) Chip Pickering (MS) Jon Porter (NV) Deborah Pryce (OH) Adam Putnam (FL) George Radanovich (CA) Tom Reynolds (NY) Mike Rodgers (MI) Harold Rodgers (KY) Paul Ryan (WI) Jim Saxton (NJ) Jeff Sessions (TX) Christopher Shays (CT) Mike Simpson (ID) Chris Smith (NJ) Mark Souder (IN) Tom Tancredo (CO) Fred Upton (MI) Greg Walden (OR) Jim Walsh (NY) Dave Weldon (FL) Joe Wilson (SC) Heather Wilson (NM) Frank Wolf (SC)
From Michelle Malkin, here's a list of Republicans who voted for a 90% unconstitutional tax on AIG bonuses.
Here are the 10 House Republicans who think it is government’s job to determine what “excessive” pay is in every workplace except their own (full roll call vote here):
Bilirakis
Brown-Waite, Ginny
Cao
Diaz-Balart, L.
Diaz-Balart, M.
Duncan
Jones
McHugh
Rohrabacher
Ros-LehtinenAt least this bonus-taxing bunch of appalling GOP turncoats is consistent in supporting radical government meddling.
Oh, and look who voted “present:”
Cantor
Once we get these liberal Republicans out of congress and replaced with actual conservatives, we need to go after TERM LIMITS, PAY CUTS AND RETIREMENT PACKAGES. If we can't take the anger and motivation behind the protests and turn it into CONSEQUENCES at the polls then it was all worthless and for nothing. Let's show them the kind of power the people actually have! NOW GET TO WORK!!!
*The image above comes from a great site that is organizing days to send "pink slips" to reps who need to go on the same days. Go HERE and print yourself some to send!!! They're great!

Dear Ms. Fox: Nice blog, but coming from Illinois' Tenth District, which is represented by the phenomenal 5th term Congressman Mark Kirk, I am used to seeing comments like yours all the time. Kirk is a fiscal and defense-oriented conservative (being a veteran and an active member of the naval reserves) and while more liberal than most GOPers on social issues, it is clear to us in the 10th that he is the most conservative congressman that is every going to get elected in a district that voted for both Kerry and Obama, and by some accounts, grows bluer every day. Even our local right-wing fanatics have generally accepted that it's Kirk, or accept a Kerry/Obama Democrat in that seat for the forseeable future.
It's very easy to say people don't meet your conservative litmus test (whatever it is), but unless you visit IL-10 and can tell us realistically how to get a more conservative individual elected in this District, perhaps you should stick to your sandal shopping.
Best regards, Team America
I may not live in the 10th district, but I do live in IL. And if you aren't willing to draw the line in the sand somewhere, then what good is it? My "litmus" test is voting for the socialist takeover and Mark Kirk did. He's probably a very good man, but he cast the wrong vote. And if those of us protesting the bailouts aren't willing to vote out the guys who got us here, then we have no business protesting any further.
I think it's hilarious that someone writing as Senator Brownback just posted here a minute ago claiming that he did NOT vote for the bailouts and that I should get my facts straight. Then it was promptly removed by whoever wrote it. Do you think they found this?

You can run Senator, but you can't hide.
Dear Team America,
I have a very short fuse for so called "moderate Conservatives" that sling names toward conservatives they don't agree with. Thanks to people like you we have an Obama in the White House.
Furthermore while I was willing to give Mr. Kirk the benefit of the doubt I will have to second guess that decision if you are representative of his constituency.
We will be watching the 10th district rather closely.
We don't have to hide behind your definition of what you consider "our" litmus test. A
good majority of Republicans failed such tests and are now on the sidelines watching Democrats reap the benefit thanks to appeasers such as yourself.
The old, now defunct, Republican "leadership" turned their backs on conservatives and their betrayal was reciprocated by not getting voted back in. Get used to the trend.
Mr. Kirk couldn't have anyone worse than someone such as yourself defending him.
Curious, do you represent the Lake Country Republican Federation or do you simply hide behind your blogspot account? You have great courage.
Should it worry us that if a more conservative wins in the primary that the dem candidate will win in the general?
"Consider this your GOING AWAY PARTY!" I love it!
I am getting my hopes up that people ARE going to keep this up, and ARE sick and tired of being led down the path to tyranny.
And, as you can see by the "comments" (and I use that term loosely) from the drones on the left, they are scared sh*tless, that their house of cards may be coming down.
responding to the "should it worry us that if a more conservative candidate is nominated a democrat will win" comment....i have a question? What is the difference between a Democrat who votes with Democrats and a Republican who votes with Democrats?
And I reject the premise that the American people are not conservative! When given the choice between a real conservative and a liberal, they choose the conservative every time! (unless you live in Chicago or NY) but this is a big country and across the nation live very conservative Americans who like traditional marriage, low taxes, less govt. intrusion, and the 2nd amendment. There are more of us than them. But we have to be given a real conservative to vote for or we don't show up.
Thanks to Doug Giles for reminding me of Brownback's endorsement of anti-life Sebelius. What kind of
"catholic" does this? If you believe in abortion and you believe that it's your right to kill your baby in your womb, you aren't even a Christian, let alone a Catholic. Spare us please.

I notice that Chris Cannon was on the list of Republican Rep's who voted for the Bush Bailout Bill - it's nice to be able to say that the voters in his district had already tossed him out in the Republican Primary before he had even cast that vote.
Here's hoping the whole state will do the same for Senator Bennett in 2010.
Terry- on the contrary, I think it's people like you who are to blame for having Obama in the White House. From what I have observed, it's only the ultra-conservatives who are so concerned about party purity that you can't see past your own dogma to understand that having such a rigid view of the world may give you the comfort of your convictions but won't win you elections.
Your problem (and the problem of many others like you) is that you hate moderate Republicans more than Democrats. Too many of your ilk believe that "if only" our message can reach the masses, they cannot help but flock to our banner. News flash: the masses have heard the message, and they ain't buyin' it.
You have no idea what my personal philosophy is; you simply seem to think that anyone who supports someone like Mark Kirk, no matter how strong he is on many traditionally GOP issues, if he doesn't agree with you 100%, you will hold out for the "true conservative". That's fine for principle, but there are elections that principle simply can't always win in some districts.
I want to win elections and have a Republican in IL-10, even if I don't agree with Mark Kirk on every issue. If you reject the so-called "RINO", you will get the full-fledged Democrat/Socialist. And that's why YOU folks have more to do with Obama than I do, and if we follow your plan, we will have an Obama clone in IL-10 long before we have a "true conservative." We came real close in 2008.
Team America,
You seem to be forgetting the fact that your moderate guy, John McCain, didn't win. And it isn't because conservatives like Terry and me didn't vote for him. We did! The problem is that moderates and on-the-fencers went for Obama. Republican elites like Peggy Noonan and Christopher Buckley pushed a bunch of folks over to the Obama side by slinging a lot of tripe at them and making them ashamed of Sarah Palin and afraid to be seen as biggots. John McCain was a big problem for the Republicans. His willingness to capitulate to Democrats on issues like illegal immigration and campaign finance reform with his unwillingness to really take it to Obama and point out the guy's obvious flaws, made him hardly different than his opponent. And if your choices come down to liberal old guy and liberal new guy who looks decent without a shirt...well it's not a real tough contest. Let's not forget that McCain was all for the bank bailouts too.
Tell me truly, in the case of Mark Kirk, what is the difference between a Democrat who votes with the socialists or a Republican who votes with the socialists? Mark Kirk voted the wrong way on the budget issues that are going to bankrupt this country. In my opinion, it would make no difference if a Democrat took his seat. At least it would send a message to the Republicans that we aren't going allow them to vote with the socialists and keep their jobs.
This country has already been sold down the socialist river. The only option is to start all over again. Throw them all out and start again. None of them deserve their seats. What has Mark Kirk done to deserve your unwavering support? Do you so believe in a politician you can't see the truth? They're all out to SCREW YOU. When it came down to it, Mark Kirk voted to BANKRUPT YOU....
and yet you defend him. Is it like battered wife syndrome? What is it?
Great post! I love the going away party idea!
