Great Quotes

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. ~Samuel Adams

Troopergate foiled...by Trooper!

Sarah Palin's ex-brother-in-law has come forward with his part in the "Troopergate" scandal (a story blabbed around town by salivating media types that Palin had fired him illegally for some sort of personal revenge.) By his own admission to CNN he "made mistakes...fessed up to them [and was] punished appropriately". Mike Wooten, the trooper in question, went on to describe how he used a taser on his 10-year-old stepson for fun. Yeah, Einstein, that was a good idea. But let's not get too down on this poor guy. He's one of the rare individuals who doesn't blame anyone but himself. The real gem of the interview was his answer to the question, what do you think of the McCain/Palin choice?

Answer, "absolutely wonderful for the state of Alaska."

We haven't seen a Teflon candidate like this since Ronald Reagan! Even the guy she FIRED loves her! And still, Oprah doesn't think she's interesting enough to come on the show. Maybe Wooten could do us all a favor and taser Oprah.
